GetStatus is a high-tech company founded by Shai Anavi a decade ago, aiming to bring the principles of technology, management, and information sharing to the real estate and urban renewal sectors. GetStatus’s advanced technological system simplifies and enhances the complex process of urban renewal projects by connecting all stakeholders and ensuring transparency with apartment owners, solicitors, municipalities, builders and residents/tenants. GetStatus facilitates efficient collaboration and control throughout the process. The system is widely used by real estate developers, law firms, urban renewal professionals, and municipalities, enabling streamlined and transparent technological management in a single platform.

Problem Statement
GetStatus had a functional web app made using Angular Js and Node Js while the mobile app was made by wrapping web app. Issues being faced by the client were:
- Unable to enhance apps with changing business due to badly written code and inter-dependencies within the cod
- App performance was not good.
- Improper Permissions and Security Issues.
- Processes and Environments were not in place.
Solution
As soon as our team got the responsibility to manage the getStatus product, we started making base processes like Jira board and started to prioritize the tasks to sync every new development with the business as well as sprint goals. With each feature addition, the code structure was made better and dependencies were reduced to have components in place.
In Phase 1, the team was expanded by the client to implement a lot of new features like:
- GovMap integration - users are now able to check buildings on map while the companies managing projects can see the information on building, project etc on map itself.
- Unified project - project owners and builders are able to communicate with the stakeholders at a single place, with several communication channels like whatsapp, sms, email and in-app updates.
- Kanban board for projects for every type of user to manage their tasks.
In Phase 2: We solved the security issues by adding proper middleware for each API such that only permitted users can access the API where they can perform the CRUD operations. Before this, any user could perform these CRUD operations causing a significant data breach.
Impact
Business grew by 200% as their team is now focused on getting more business without thinking about code or issues in the system. Instead the team now visualizes new features needed by business to grow the client base. Sales Team also grew by 100%. End-to-end project is being handled by Repozitory. There are no architects, developers, designers or product owners at the client side except their CEO, who takes care of production deployment.
